This is how I get news…
One of the surprising byproducts of searching through countless tweets on dozens of different keyword feeds is that I come across odd news stories every now and then which I probably wouldn’t notice by just reading CNN.com. Last week while searching for blog fodder I came across the actual eyewitness tweets of Jesus burning down which prompted that blog post early Tuesday morning. Today I found another story, though less exciting…but all around perfect for this blog:
Farrah Fawcett contacted Tori Spelling during a psychic reading. I call dibs on Gary Coleman. Love celebs who get press post mortem.
And the “for the win” tweet is accurate; here’s the full story. Tori Spelling does indeed claim to have contacted Farrah Fawcett during a psychic reading, a reading where she had hoped to contact her dead father, Aaron Spelling.
The best part of the story is that Tori Spelling composed a letter to Farrah Fawcett’s family, detailing that she’s “ok” on the other side. Though, naturally, Spelling is concerned they will mistake her letter for the ramblings of a lunatic.
She said: “I actually wrote a letter to Ryan O’Neal and gave it to him so I was like, he’s either going to think I’m completely crazy or he’s going to say, ‘Wow! Some of this makes sense’ because she gave very specific details of things to tell them.”
She added: “I haven’t heard from Ryan. I’m hoping he understood what I was trying to say and doesn’t think I’m some loony.”
